I was told my my snoring was associated with stress; I didn't know these could even possibly be linked but I took their word for it. I am not one to immediately start taking medicine so i look to a more conventional approach and tried sound therapy, there are a ton of different products out there, i decided to try one called Nocturne i think its by Prescription Audio? im not sure but my wife told me it has helped with my snoring. maybe other would have luck with sound therapy??

It seems now it's acupressure rings in silver and copper worn on the little finger of either hand.

Yep, it's hard to understand how they work, or even if they do, but unless you know the cause of the snoring, you can't know the solution for reduction. I've seen some weird things done with acupressure/puncture.

Having personally experienced eastern medicine in China a few years ago I will say I am impressed with some parts of it and unimpressed with others.

I used to snore like a train, but now I don't.
Bought a neti pot and use it 3 times a week.
Western medicine does understand how it works, but it can't make enough money off it to suggest it as a solution for most people.

If you can't sleep, or not too well, it's a great time to think and pray. Just let your body rest, and don't be upset that you are not sleeping.

I agree. I actually use both CPAP and an OAT dental appliance. The CPAP is for when I am at home and I use the OAT when I'm travelling or going on a fishing trip. Or when the power fails! I do geta better sleep on CPAP (my apnea index is reduced from 46 events per hr to 4 events per hr) but the OAT appliance still gets me down to 8 per hr. I tell everyone I know who uses CPAP to get an OAT applance and put it in their toiletries bag as a backup at least. Thanks for your interestring blog.
